Check it out.

Cedar Avenue?

Six years ago I might have been really upset about this.

Your squadron won't be missing you, honey

From an AP story:

Air Force Staff Sgt. Tassi McKee, 26, an intelligence specialist at Fort Meade, Md., said she joined the Air Force because of patriotism, travel and money for college. "After we went to Iraq, I began to see through the lies," she said.

What's a demonstartion?

Your Dominant Intelligence is Spatial Intelligence

You've got a good sense of space and how the world around you looks.
You can close your eyes and "see" images. You have innate artistic talent.
An eye for color and shapes, you're also a natural designer.
Since you think in pictures, visual aids and demonstartions help you learn best.

You would make a good navigator, sculptor, visual artist, inventor, architect, interior designer, or engineer.

Euonym Ltd.

It's the new Euonym Ltd. title/logo clip! Time for a "Sweatshirt Video" sequel maybe?

Thanks to DB for the link to quite possibly the coolest MacOS X app ever made: The Star Wars Text Generator!

I will post a link to a higher quality version of the video soon.

That's my Joey

I'll have you all know that the 2006 American League batting champion came into my store tonight ("my store" as in The Job We Shall Not Speak Of). There I was selling some lady 4 different Popular Digital Music Player® cases only to look up and see the golden boy himself Joe Mauer buying a copy of Microsoft® Office: Student and Teacher Edition. I didn't exchange any words with the man but I'd like to believe that my mere presence behind the counter was enough to make Joe's day.

We've had a few celebrities drop in to the store but this was the first one I was there to see in person. Josh Hartnett was apparently in the store over the holidays—though if I had been there for that I can't say I would have thought twice about throwing a Sony Memory Stick® at his squinty head.

Key-bloat

Since I am contractually unable to comment on Apple Computer—excuse me—"Apple, Inc." I will just point out two things about today's keynote:

A. This is the first MacWorld keynote in history where the Mac was barely mentioned and zero new Macintosh products were announced.

B. This is the first MacWorld keynote in history where the highlighted product won't be available for almost half a year.

C. I miss 1997

But I made the sale!

Argh.

There is a righteous God!
