Back from the dead

...and I've brought some corn for popping!

I promised myself I wasn't going to do one of those smarmy "year-in-review" blogs so hopefully this won't turn into that (completely).

What an odd year this has been though. From January through December I've woken up feeling like I'm on a different planet, or maybe in a parallel universe. If you would have told me last December that within less than one year I would find myself a rogue Christian "church shopping", living alone in a condo and back working in the retail world I would have laughed in your face. So far things have worked out as best as can be expected but still nothing has really gone according to any precise planning on my part. So to sum it all up: I don't know what the crap I'm doing.

On top of that I've been sick off and on for the last three weeks and this combined with the madness and spectacle of the Christmas season has not helped any to stop my head from spinning or make the waning days of the year seem more stable.

I don't know how to end this post so let's just watch Steve Jobs say "Woo!" over and over again and laugh ourselves to sleep, okay?
